[Fall Foliage in Seoul] Gyeongui Line Forest Park

Let us bring you to see the autumn leaves at Gyeongui Line Forest Park towards the end of Autumn.




Gyeongui Line Forest Park, easily accessible by taking AREX train to Hongik University Station, is one of the popular places in Seoul and also one of the best places for a walk in Hongdae area. It is attractive in all seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter!

From Gajwa Station, passing through Hongik University Station, to Sogang University Station and Gongdeok Station, the walking trails are nicely built. Just pick one of the areas that you wish to visit.





Every November, Gyeongui Line Forest Park turns into a beautiful scenery created by the colorful maple trees, making it a good place to enjoy Autumn.This is the favorite place of many Koreans - people who go for a walk with their dogs, family with children, couples who go for a date. Another reason why this place is popular -  there are many nice restaurants and pretty cafes nearby!





When you walk along the forest path full of yellow ginkgo trees and red maples trees at both side, it makes your mood become better. The path is nicely built in between the Hongdae alleys and apartment area. 



When you visit Gyeongui Line Forest Park, don't forget to take photos with the autumn leaves as your background.





As you walk along the path, you will find other flowers such as cosmos that are blooming, persimmons that are hanging, and various kinds of flowers. It gives a warm feeling to you.







It is unbelievable that there's a beautiful place like Gyeoung Line Forest Park in the city. Every part of this forest park offers nice view that makes it a beautiful picture.




We took the route from Hongik University Station to Sogang University Station, passing through Gyeongui Line Book Street.




Other than the beautiful autumn leaves that can be seen at Gyeongui Line Book Street, it is also different from the forest path near Hongik University Station area. Therefore, it is fun and enjoyable.





You will feel relaxed and enjoy the walk along the path that has exotic houses and many maples trees. Surely this is a healing place for you in Autumn.

[Fall Foliage in Incheon] Wonjeoksan Park

To many people, when we talk about ginkgo trees, Hongcheon Ginkgo Forest will first come into their mind. Around end of October every year, the yellow ginkgo trees shine in golden color, which makes it perfect for us to enjoy Autumn. In this post, we will introduce a park named "Wonjeoksan Park', located in the city where you can enjoy this pretty Autumn scenery. 



Wonjeokson Park is one of the good place to enjoy fall foliage in Incheon, and it was selected as one of the 7 Untact (contactless/activity without human contact) attractions in Incheon. Normally, from end of October to November, you can enjoy the beautiful yellow-ish fall foliage in Wonjeoksan Park.




To find the ginkgo trees in Wonjeoksan Park, head over to picnic area.





Starting from the entrance of the park, you will be able to see the colorful Autumn leaves that create a picturesque scenery. This is the best season to take a walk at the park.





After you have entered the park from the main entrance, you will pass by some stores. Keep walking and you will see a football field on your left. After passing through the football field and basketball court, you will arrive at the Ginkgo Tree Forest, the popular spot of Wonjeoksan Park! Here is where the ginkgo trees present the Autumn atmosphere to you.





The colorful and beautiful maple trees around the playground will surely catch your attention. Many people stop here and take lots of pictures.





This is the view of the picnic area that is filled with golden yellow ginkgo trees. This is the Wonjeoksan Park Ginkgo Forest!





Ginkgo trees leaves normally start turning yellow around end of October, and the peak is in early November. Most of the leaves will turn yellow, and one will still contain green leaves. This golden yellow sight was expected to last till end of 1st week of November.





There are many benches and tables installed in Wonjeoksan Park, so even if you feel tired, you may take a rest before continue your walk.





When you stare at the golden yellow ginkgo trees, you will be able to feel the Autumn season. The floor full of yellow fallen leaves also creates an illusion that the golden waves are fluttering along with the sunlight.







The pretty cosmos flowers at the side of the path and the yellow ginkgo trees bring out the Autumn vibes.







Nearby the ginkgo trees forest, you will also see some red maple trees. It is recommended to follow the walking trail in the park. In addition, the walking trail is made of flat ground, so it is suitable for children.





Around Wonjeoksan Park, there is cherry blossom trees path and Incheon dulle-gil. If you have extra time, it is recommended to go for a light hiking course.




Behind the ginkgo trees forest, there is a staircase heading to the slope of the park. If you walk up, you will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the park. Therefore, it is highly recommended for you to walk up and take a look.
