Aramaru Observatory
Summer is here in Korea, and we are going to introduce the perfect places for Summer outing.
First attraction is the Aramaru Observatory that is located in Gyeyang, Incheon. It is a representative attraction of Incheon that people visit all day as it has various facilities such as observatory, waterfall, rest area and restaurants.

After sunset, when it becomes dark, the spectacular neon lights on the Aramaru Observatory brighten up the area. As this observatory doesn't have shade, there are more visitors that come here in the evening than day. However, please take note that no entry is allowed after 10pm.
The view of Ara Waterway is beautiful in the day and night. This is a good place to visit if you are in need of a relaxing trip to brighten up your mood. The daytime is longer these days so you can enjoy this observatory, waterfall and other facilities all together at one time. It is also easily accessible from Seoul.
Ara Waterfall
Ara Waterfall is about 120m away from the Aramaru Observatory. It is a good place to go for a walk. Since it is hot during the Summer, it is recommended that you prepare an umbrella or wear a hat to protect from the sunlight.
If you take a slow walk down the wooden stairs from the observatory, there are small blooming wildflowers and green trees welcoming you. There aren't many visitors in the weekdays, so it is a good place as untact (maintaining social distancing) walkway.
Please refer to the operating time of Ara Waterfall as the time has been fixed.
Small drops of water pop up together with the sound of a cool waterfall can be heard. The cool stream of water gives thrilling enjoyment to the people who visit Ara Waterfall as the temperature is lower in stream and the sound of camera shutters from visitors can be heard continuously.
Please take note that children must be accompanied by adults. The Ara Waterfall is made of 3 levels structure. You have to view the whole waterfall from the opposite side. It offers another kind of enjoyment compared to playing at the waterfall.

If you are planning a trip to Aramaru Observatory, we recommend you to visit slight before sunset and stay for a little while after sunset.
