Numerous foreign travellers visiting Korea have places to go for seeing Seoul in their eyes. It’s N-Seoul tower located on the highest site at the center of Seoul. It was built as radio wave tower to transmit broadcasting at first, but it has settled as a tourist attraction until now after opening to the public since 1980.

As Namsan N-Seoul tower restricts general traffic for protection of ecological system of Namsan park since May 1, 2005, it had better to take bus or cable car if you want to climb there more easily.
You can go there at one go if using bus after getting off at Seoul station of Incheon airport railroad. And also you can go there if using Namsan cable car by 15 minutes’ walk from exit 3 of Myeongdong station after transferring to subway line 4 through transfer passageway of Seoul station.
There are restaurants and lots of snacks that visitors can eat lightly at outside of observatory. Also there is a spacious gift shop on the 1 floor of this tower. As this place provides souvenirs for Seoul tower and also various mementos symbolizing Seoul, you can see images of travelers who stay for a long time and do some shopping around there.
N-Seoul tower tells some informations about how clear Seoul’s air is from sunset to midnight since 2011, with turning on the blue light at the day when the concentration of fine dust of Seoul’s air is below 45㎍/㎥. If you examine this concentration of fine dust and a blue light turns on, Seoul’s air is almost as clear as Jejudo’s air. If the blue light at Seoul tower turns on, let’s go to N-tower to watch Seoul’s night view with refreshed feeling.
It gives a unusual memory to enjoy Seoul’s night view at N-Seoul tower with the cool wind on your face.
<How to get to N-Seoul tower>
1. Get off at Seoul station of Incheon airport railroad > exit 9 > take on No.3 Namsan shuttle bus > get off at N-Seoul tower, the last stop.
2. Seoul station of Incheon airport railroad > transfer to subway line 4 > get off at Myeong-dong station > exit 3 > take on Namsan cable car(customer shuttle bus for Namsan cable car at exit 3 of Myeongdong station is running)
