[Recommended Food in Malli-dong, Seoul Station] Yuzu Ramen and Very Street Kitchen

There are many famous restaurants around Seoul Station. In this post, we will recommend 2 restaurants in Malli-dong.

#1 Yuzu Ramen

Yuzu Ramen' is a Japanese ramen restaurant famous for shio ramen. They open every day during lunch and dinner but is closed at 3-5pm for break time.

The restaurant is designed in Japanese bar-type seats and decorated with various vintage items.

You have to order the food at the kiosk found near the entrance, and then take a seat.

The restaurant makes theirs own noodles every day, and you will find that the texture of the noodles are more chewy. In addition, you can add on noodles for free.

We added chashu in the Spicy Yuzu Shoyu Ramen. The ramen consists of noodles, soft boiled egg, rucola, chashu, bamboo shoots and seaweed. The soup is just a little spicy so don't worry too much if you can't eat too spicy food.

Chashu is thick and tender, with a proper combination of fats and lean meat,. The noodles are slightly thicker than the normal ramen noodles. When you feel that the taste is a little heavy after eating the noodles, meat or soup, try eating the rucola to get a refreshing taste.

For ramen lovers, give Yuzu Ramen a try when you come to Seoul Station.

#2 Very Street Kitchen

Very Street Kitchen is a small restaurant where you can enjoy street food of major cities around the world. This is a good time for you to enjoy food from various cities since you can't travel around the world due to COVID-19.

This is a building with more than 100 years history. Very Street Kitchen maintained the wall and window bars in the original state, but have decorated with round tables and the interior by their own deginers. The combination of marble table and dark lighting creates a special atmosphere.

They serve a variery of food such as risotto, pasta, meat and seafood. You can see names of different cities around the world on the menu.

We ordered the Barcelona Gambas al Ajillo (Spanish garlic shrimp). Dip a baguette in olive oil with garlic flavor and eat it together with the shrimp. :)

Seoul sirloin risotto is a risotto that comes together with meat in soy sauce, on top of the cream-based sauce. The risotto's cream and meat's soy sauce blend pretty well.

Visit Very Street Kitchen to try out food from various cities and enjoy it in a good atmosphere.
