[AREX NUMBER] Introducing Oil Tank Culture Park



It is adjacent to Noeul Park, World Cup Stadium,
 Hangang River. Perfect for one's outing.
Let me introduce you to Oil Tank Culture Park

1What is the Oil Tank Culture Park

The Oil Tank Culture Park is 
It was a legacy of the industrial age 
and a waste industry facility. 
It was reborn as a cultural space for citizens.

In 2013, after the change was 
decided to be a cultural park
through a public offering of citizens. 

In 2017, it was opened to citizens as 
an eco-friendly cultural complex.

It's made by recycling existing resources 
It is a representative large urban renewal landmark of Seoul.

The existing five tanks that used to stock up on oil
are the only ones that can be used to build oil. 

It's transformed into a concert hall, a showroom, 
and a multi-purpose pavilion. 

One new tank is the Information Exchange Center,
 The large outdoor area, which used to be a 
temporary parking lot, became a cultural garden. 

2. Door T1 to the Celestial Spheres of the 

Drama 'Hwayugi'

T1 Fabillion, who came out of the drama
 "Hwayugi" as a door to heaven,

After the tank has been dismantled, 
the remaining concrete retaining walls have been removed.

It's a glass structure wall and a roof
 reminiscent of the Apple Store in New York.

T3 is the deepest reserve tank in the six tanks 
in the Oil Tank Culture Park.

when the oil-rich base was built.

T4 is also a cultural complex that utilizes 
the unique shape of the tank inside.

circular without deformation.

Inside the space, video and sound equipment are
 installed to display the media, perform, etc. 
It's designed to offer a variety of visual art exhibitions.

reassembled by recycling broken iron plates from tanks 1 and 2.

It supports community activities such as lecture rooms, 
conference rooms, and cafeteria.

If you take AREX from Seoul Station 0 and pass "three" stations,

15 minutes and you'll be able to get to Oil Tank Culture Park! 

*The park is opened for 24 hours a day,
but the exhibition hall is closed on Monday.
