Koreans celebrate Hangeul Day on 9th October, every year. Hangeul is the Korean Alphabet that was created by King Sejong the Great during Joseon Dynasty.
If you have been to Seoul, you are probably familiar with King Sejong statue at the Gwanghwamun Square. Most, if not all, people have visited Gwanghwamun Square when they travel in Seoul. Also, most of the tourists will take a photo of / with King Sejong statue too!
If you are learning Korean language and wish to visit King Sejong statue, remember to put this in your list when you travel to Korea.
How to get to Gwanghwamun Square:
Take Airport Railroad to Gongdeok Station > Transfer to Seoul Subway Line 5 > Get off at Gwanghwamun Station
