The Jjajangmyeon (Noodles in soy bean Sauce) in Mandabog is not "black". In addition, there is no MSG added in the Jjajangmyeon and the taste remains the same as 100 years ago. The taste is definitely different from the normal jjajangmyeon.

There are two types of jjajangmyeon available in Mandabog - 100 years Jjajang (백년 짜장) and White Jjajang (하얀 백년 짜장).

If you want to try the authentic 100 years jjajangmyeon, it is recommended that you try the "white jjajang". The noodle, chicken broth and soybean sauce will come separately.

There is no MSG added in the soybean sauce. It is made of Chinese soy bean paste that is fried together with the meat. To eat this jjajangmyeon, add the soybean sauce and chicken broth into the bowl of noodles and mix it well.
