How to Buy an Express Train Ticket

It’s August! Korea is currently experiencing the height of its heat. To make your travels more enjoyable, I’m going to introduce to you a quick and easy way to buy a ticket for the express train from the airport to downtown Seoul.

You can easily buy a ticket for the express train on your PC or mobile device.

After signing up, select the date, location, number of people and seats you would like.  You can buy tickets for the timeslot you like, thus making preparing for you trip possible.

After making your purchase, head to either of the Travel Centers at Incheon Airport Terminals 1 and 2 to receive your express train ticket.

 

*Same-day reservations are not possible online.*

 

Buying In-person is Also Easy!

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

You may purchase a ticket at the ticket vending machine in English, Chinese and Japanese, so that you may make your reservation with ease.

 

 

In case you are having difficulty making your reservation, you can go to the nearby ticketing booth where an employee with be able to help you.

 

On-site reservations are only available for traveling that same day.

  

 

How Do I Make Cancellations and Get a Refund?

 

 

If by chance you wish to make a cancellation or receive a refund, you can do so without a problem at the ticketing counter.

 

A full refund is available before the departure of your train, while a partial refund is available if the train has already departed.

 

You may also cancel your reservation and receive a refund online.

 

 

Convenience Thanks to the Express Train!

 

Further, there’s a lounge and free bottled water for guests of the express train.

Express Train Fare : Adults 9,000 won / children : 7,000 won

 

*There is an additional 500 won deposit at the time of ticketing which may be refunded by using the deposit machine in the station of your destination.
