Greeting from AREX :)
I’m going to introduce to you a unique
experience here in Korea that can be used to beat this swelter heat.
Let’s get to it!
What kind of place is
Namsangol Hanok Village?
Located in
Seoul’s Jung-gu Pil-dong neighborhood, Namsangol Hanok Village is a place for
people of today’s age to experience and learn about Korea’s restoration while
shedding new light on the lives of its ancestors.
Further, you can experience Korean plays, games, dances, etc. while learning about old Korean culture all in one place.

Recognizing 600
years of Seoul being Korea’s capital, the Seoul Millennium Year Time Capsule
has 600 representative items of the culture of Seoul and its citizens. It is in
the shape of a Bosingak Bell and weighs 2.5 tons.
It was buried on
November 11, 1994 and contains 600 representative items of the people and city
of that time buried on a Video-CD. The
capsule is scheduled to be opened on November 29, 2394.
The Reappearance of the Life of Our Ancestors
This place in Pil-dong
is from the Joseon Era and features a flowing creek and Cheonugak style home,
making it a famous place for relaxing in the summer and hanging out.
The
traditional garden and hanok house restore and show the traditional look of
Korea, while allowing everyone to enjoy the beauty of old Namsan, its creeks
