Greeting from AREX :)
In no time, it’s the middle of December and the year is coming to an
end. As such, there is not much time to
celebrate the new year.
While finishing off the year that was with a trip or making new hopes and
resolutions, here are the sunsets you just cannot miss!
In order to make the end of the year even more meaningful, I will
introduce 5 places known for their great sunsets available by riding the AREX.
:)
So, shall we have a look?
Eurwangni
After
Eurwangni beach was designated as a tourist attraction in 1986, it became a
great place for men and women of all ages to visit. It’s famous for familes,
dates, or even college student trips.
In
particular, the pine forest and benches next to the beach allow visitors to
enjoy the atmosphere of the early evening and sounds of rolling waves alongside
the sunset.
Jeonseojin
Located
at Incheon Passenger Terminal in the Seoul-Incheon waterway, Jegonseojin is at
the end of the waterway where you can take a stroll while enjoying the
surrounding panoramas.
Of
those sights is the symbolic statue sunset bell. With the sunset, you can visit
a park, man-made lake, island and other various areas. In particular, the area
is quite famous its coastal trail and sunset bell.
Wangsan Beach
Wangsan Beach is a
tranquil, beautiful beach popular for couples to visit for a hidden date. At
dusk, the setting sun reflects on the waves giving Wangsan Beach the name of
Wangsan Sunset while also being picked at the number 1 stop of the 8 total
stops in the area.
We hope you send
off the year along with the sunset at Wangsan Beach that beautifully combines
heaven, earth and shore.
Masiran Beach
Masiran Beach is
spread out to the right of the path leading from Jamjin-do and Geojampo. When
the water fall into the ocean, the beach becomes a mudflat popular for families
to visit.
Further, Masiran
Beach runs 3km long, so families or couples can watch the sunset together while
walking along the beach and taking in the romantic grandeur of the setting sun.
Ganghwa-do
While every place is famous for watching the setting sun, Ganghwa-do’s
representative spot is the Janghwari Sunset Village.
Just from the name, it’s not just tourist but also photographers that
flock to the area for the ideal place to enjoy the end of the year.
At Ganghwa-do’s Janghwari Sunset Village, the bright, red light of the
setting sun spreads across the skies. Along with the delicate beach and adorned,
beautiful islands in the surrounding area, you will become lost in the beauty
of nature.
Another famous place for the sunset is Seokmo-do and Seokmo-do’s mineral
hot springs.
During the cold winter, warm up your body and comfortably enjoy the
sunset in the outdoor hot springs that so many people come to take advantage
of!
They say in order to see the setting sun, you’ll have to put a little pep
in your step :)
That’s all for now on the great spots to celebrate the end of the year and
enjoy the sunset.
Ride the AREX and enjoy the new year!
We hope you celebrate :)
