Online Flower Viewing - Enjoying Canola Flower Field at Gyeyang Flower Field

Due to COVID-19, it feels like this year's spring has gone in the blink of an eye. This post is dedicated to those who could not enjoy spring flower due to social distancing and lockdown in their country. Let's have a healing and relaxing time by enjoying this online flower viewing.

Today, we will introduce Gyeyang Flower Field (계양꽃마루) which is located in Gyeyang, Incheon. The yellow flowers that you can see from afar seems to be informing you that Spring has come.

There is a cute photo zone right at the entrance. Canola flowers are seen mostly in Jeju Island, but since last year, the Gyeyang Flower Field in Incheon is full of yellow canola flowers, which can been seen during Spring this year too. We are really happy to see canola flowers near the city.

For your information, pets are not allowed in Gyeyang Flower Field, so if you plan to bring your pets such as dog or puppy, you should keep it at the nearby pet shelter before going to the field.

The yellow-ish Gyeyang Flower Field was in full bloom in late April to early May, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful canola flowers.

This flower field is quite spacious but there are many rest areas and photo zones around the field. It's definitely is a great place to have a slow walk.

The biggest advantage is that you can find such a big canola flower field in downtown Incheon without having to go all the way to Jeju Island.

The previous Gyeyang Stadium project during Incheon Asian Games was neglected due to the reduction of its business. It was turned into a flower field since 2017 and has become a special place for many people to visit to have some healing, peaceful time especially during Spring and Autumn.

As you walk along the trail, you will discover many photo zones. This would be a good time to take some insta-shots and nice profile pictures.

In addition, there is a notice on how to take picture, which can be found in front of that cute little frog photo zone. Immediately, we put Nareu there to take a photo. How cute!

Canola flowers are swaying in spring breeze, together with the sight of honeybees flying around the canola flowers that are filled with sweet honey. Lovely picture!
