Jean Boulangerie's mammoth bread has 2 types - regular and junior mammoth bread, priced at KRW 6,000 and KRW 4,000 respectively. Normally, the regular mammoth bread is sold out faster, so it may be slightly easier to buy the junior mammoth bread. The ingredients used in regular and junior mammoth bread are the same, just different in size..

The cream is put in between two thich soboro bread. When you hold it, you could feel the "thickness" of this bread.

The filling of Jean Boulangerie's mammoth bread is layered with pea paste, chestnut cream and red beans. It looks like a sandwich, doesn't it?

It is big enough for 2-3 people to share and it can be easily cut into smaller pieces. Jean Boulangerie's mammoth bread is filled with not too sweet pea and red bean paste, and a slightly heavy yet soft whipped cream that is filled with sweet chestnuts. #2 Two Thumbs Up

Two Thumbs Up Bakery is a representative bakery in Mangwon-dong that serves mammoth bread made by various ingredients. This bakery shop is located in the alley next to Mangwon Market.

Two Thumbs Up Bakery is opened from 12:30 to 20:00 on Thursdays and Saturdays. It is recommended to visit early as the shop will be closed once all the bread has been sold out.

Please take note that the bread is only available for takeout. If you visit around 3 pm on Saturday, most of the bread may have been sold out. However, it may be different during weekdays.

The main menus are chestnut, pumpkin and mugwort mammoth bread, available in L and S size, with a difference of KRW 3,500 each. The new item -  'Match Alien', is available at KRW 5,500, only in 1 size.

[Picture above] Left - Pumpkin mammoth bread / Right - Match Alien mammoth bread

This is the match alien mammoth bread. It is a little larger than a palm, sprinkled with alot of matcha powder on the soboro bread.

It is filled with thick matcha (green tea) cream and chocolate, stacking up like like a hamburger.

Wow! Take a look at the filling full of red bean paste and matcha cream!

Two Thumbs Up Bakery is famous for putting thick cream in their bread.

If you cut it into bite-sized pieces and put one whole piece into your mouth, you can feel the rich and strong taste of matcha cream together with the sweet red bean paste melting in your mouth.

As for the pumpkin mammoth bread, it is topped with a thick layer of mugwort crumble.

If you look at it from the side, it looks like other mammoth bread.

However, when you cut it, you can see that it is filled with yellow colour cream and lots of nuts.

Unlike the normal mammoth bread, Two Thumbs Up's pumpkin mammoth bread consists of pumpkin mousse in a mixture of sweet pumpkin and cream cheese. It's not too sweet or greasy, so it makes you want to keep eating it non-stop. For those who loves sweet pumpkin, we strongly recommend this.

The price is a little more expensive than other mammoth bread, but it is because the mammoth bread in Two Thumbs Up contains big amount of ingredients (as you can see from the pictures), and it taste really delicious. If you've only tried the normal mammoth bread, we recommend you to try this mammoth bread from Two Thumbs Up.

Tips!
If you want to enjoy the mammoth bread more deliciously, eat it together with cold milk. The sweet cream will melt in your mouth and it will make you feel good.
