There are a few popular park nearby Sangam World Cup Stadium, such as Nanji Hangang Park, Haneul Park and World Cup Park. As compared to the other popular parks, Sangam Peach Park is less popular and crowded, thus you can enjoy picnic more comfortably.
Sangam Peace Park is a healing place with large lawn, walking trails, sculptures and rest areas around Nanji Pond. There are benches and tables everywhere, which is good for people who wants to picnic here.
The trees, forest trails and green scenery are so nature-friendly that makes you feel like you are not in the city of Seoul.
There is a convenience store next to the pond, so you can buy food and drinks if you get hungry.
In addition, there is a small valley inside Sangam Peace Park where you can dip your feet in to enjoy the water on a hot summer day. This is an interesting place to see open ponds and plaza, and as you walk along the train inward, you will discover another park.
