In this post, we are going to recommend to you two sandwich shop in Seoul that were introduced in Korean TV program called Wednesday Food Talk. Firstly, we will introduce Tampa Sandwich Bar that is located in Yeonnam-dong, and the second sandwich shop is called Salt House Deli, located in Mangwon-dong.
#1 Tampa Sandwich Bar (탬파)
Tampa Sandwich Bar is located in Yeonnam-dong, which is near AREX Hongik University Station. As Tampa Florida is one of the popular vacation spot, this shop uses a concept whereby you can imagine that you are enjoying Southern American food and beer in your vacation.
The interior with vivid yellow and blue is different from other restaurants, and it creates a unique atmosphere that makes you feel as though you are on a vacation.
The representative menu is the Cuban sandwich and Philly Cheese Steak. Besides that, Mac and Cheese is also a famous dish here.
After you have decided what to order, you can order it at the country and make payment.
During our visit, we ordered Cuban Sandwich, Philly Cheese Steak, and craft beer.
Let's check out the Tampa Cuban Sandwich first. It comes in the form of crispy baguette with basic ingredients such as cheese, chicken and ham. It was a little salty, but the warm baguette is so crispy and it tastes excellent. In addition, the cheese blends well with the slightly salty taste of the meat.
Next is the Philly Cheese Steak. It consists of baguette, beef, onion, green pepper and American cheese. The sauce tasted quite similar to bulgogi sauce.
You can choose either original or spicy. If you choose spicy, don't worry so much as it doesn't taste that spicy after all. Oh, they also give jalapenos instead of pickles!

#2 Salt House Deli
Salt House Deli sandwiches are made of processed meat ripened and fermented by themselves. It is one of the famous sandwich shops in Mangwon-dong.
There is always a queue so it is recommended that you come early. If you have a Korea phone number, you can insert the number at the kiosk to be on wasting list, and they will inform through Kakaotalk.
However, if you want to takeout, you can place your order at the store immediately without waiting.
The interior is decorated with wood and designed in dark tones. Besides that, the processed meat that is displayed around the counter makes you feel like you are in Europe.

We ordered the best food here - Jambon beurre sandwich. When you order a sandwich, you can choose between french fries and coleslaw as a side menu.
Jambon beurre sandwich, a favourite sandwich of many people, is made of crispy baguette with sliced ham (jambon) and butter in between.
Jambon beurre sandwich is a cold sandwich so the baguette is a little hard. However, the sandwich is filled with more ham and cheese that the Cuban sandwich which was introduced earlier. Also, the coleslaw tastes delicious as well!
