Incheon International Airport T2 Station,

the 14th AREX Station that connects Seoul and Incheon Airport.

Incheon Airport T2 Station is the 14th station of AREX that connects Seoul Station and Incheon International Airport and is the last station of AREX that was built in 2018 by extending the AREX route from Incheon Airport Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.

Currently, the AREX Express Train is suspended due to COVID-19. However, when the operation returns, you can take AREX Express Train from Incheon Airport T2 Station to Seoul Station.

The fastest way from AREX Incheon Airport T2 Station to Incheon Airport Passenger T2

Get off at Car #1-1 or #6-4 and use the escalator in front. If you have heavy luggage, you could take the elevator.

If you want to take the elevator, you can get off at Car #3-2 or #4-2. These are the fastest way to get to Incheon Airport Passenger Terminal 2.

After exiting the ticket gate, there is a moving walk, in front of the Customer Information Center, that leads to Incheon Airport Passenger Terminal 2. 

After the moving walk, there will be an escalator that goes up to the third floor, departure hall. When you come up on the escalator, you will see Counter F right in front, and you can go to the respective airline's check-in counter.

If you have already checked in at the City Airport Terminal (Currently suspended due to COVID-19), you could use the special lane for immigration at the departure hall.

The special lane is located on the 3rd floor, between Counter G and Departure Area 2.

The Customer Information Center can be easily seen outside the ticket gate as it is located at the center.

Before coming out from the ticket gate of AREX All-Stop Train, you will find one ATM.

-- Self Exchange Lounge

Before taking escalator up to the ticket gate, you will see the Self Exchange Lounge for currency exchange. You may apply for it on the app prior to collecting it, or just go straight to the machine for currency exchange.

--Baggage Cart

You will see the baggage cart beside the ticket gate of AREX All-Stop Train.

--Transportation Card (T-Money) Vending Machine

There is a transportation card vending machine outside the ticket gate of AREX Express Train.

You may buy cute transportation card here, which has different image from the normal T-money card.

[Interesting Spot at Incheon Airport T2]

Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 has an observatory deck, a smart art space where you can enjoy Incheon International Airport experience facilities while looking at the plane.

In order to go to the observatory deck, you have to take an escalator or elevator between Counter D and E at the departure hall on the 3rd floor and go up to the 4th floor.

On the way up from to the 4th floor, you can see seagull sculptures spreading their strong wings.

The observatory is on the 5th floor, so you have to go up to 4th floor, then take the elevator or escalator one more time.

When you arrive at the observatory deck on the 5th floor, you will see the bridge that reminds you of an airplane flying on the runway.

On the left and right side of the bridge, you are able to read about the goals and achievements of each construction stage of Incheon International Airport which are presented in artistic drawing works.

At the history museum & observatory deck, you can see the airport runway with 20 years of history, that is before Incheon International Airport becomes a world-class airport, and also watch the plane from the open glass window.

At the PR hall, you can see and learn the history and future of Incheon International Airport through the multimedia show on model mapping and DID videos.

In addition, there is an introduction of the airport facilities at different stage through a large 12m model for 3 times a day. Unfortunately, it has been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19.

From Seoul Station to Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Station, it only takes 66 mins by AREX All-Stop Train and 51 mins by AREX Express Train!

The safest and fastest way to the airport is by taking the Airport Railroad (AREX). We hope to see you in Korea very soon.
