So, shall we go more in depth about Hyochang Park?
1. History of Hyochang Park
With an area of 123,307㎡, Hyochang Park is home to the grave of the 22nd King of Joseon’s eldest son, Mun Hyo, thus giving the park its name.
Hyochang Park was designated Korean historical site number 330 on June 8th, 1989.

2. Hyochang Park: A Resting Place for Citizens
The park does a great job of acting as a place of rest for its residents.
While families, couples, and animal companions alike take walks together,
another side of the park is crowded but full of energy thanks to the elders chatting while playing Janggi together.
3. Hyochang Park: Creating the Will of Our Independence Fighters
At the park, there is not only the resting site of Baekbeom’s Kim Koo,
but also that of others who sacrificed their lives for independence such as Lee Bong-Chang,
Yun Bong-Gil, Baek Jegong-gi and other main figures of the provisional government.
This park’s cemetery is for those who dedicated their lives for the country.
