This station is located in the neighborhood of Sangam where it is possible to transfer to both the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Line number 6.

Digital Media City, or DMC for short,

is an assembly of cutting edge IT technology, human resources, and cultural entertainment industries.

 As such, it is an urban complex of both Digital Media and Entertainment.

magnificient and refined Korean broadcasting stations like MBC, SBS, YTN, CJ E&M, etc.

[AREX Monthly Station] The gathering place of the sociable people, Hongik University Station!

Hello? Today, I will introduce the Hongik University station, a popular place for young people. Hongik University Station, is located in Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and is a four-story structure. It is a transfer station for Seoul Subway Line 2, AREX and Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line Gyeongui Central.

There are so many transferable lines, so there is lots of floating population.

Inside the Hongik University station there are escalators, elevators, and moving walk that provides convenience for subway passengers. There are also facilities for purchasing various food and convenience stores such as coffee shops, convenience stores, confectioneries and cosmetics shops.
