Shooting places of 'Avengers 2' in Korea like MBC's new building at Sangam-dong appeared in the trailer

As the opening date of Hollywood blockbuster movie 'Avengers 2' that some big stars like Robert Downey Jr.(starring in Iron man), Chris Evans(in Captain America), Chris Hemsworth(in Thor) make their appearances was decided lately, people's interests are running high to this movie. This movie will be opened on April 22th in Finland, Italy, France, on May 1st in North America and on April 23rd in Korea.

Especially, because this movie was filmed in various places in Korea like Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Korean audiences can feel different funs to find out shooting places in Korea out of the film. 

This movie was made at MBC's new building and wolrdcupbuk-ro in Sangam-dong, Mapo bridge, Seoul floating island, the entrance of Gyewon school of art in Uiwang city. The two places coming on the scene of 'Avengers 2' trailer among these shooting places are eye catchers, in particular.

Those are MBC's new building and Seoul floating islands. Especially, thanks to 5 minutes distance from 9 exit of Digital media city station of Incheon airport railroad, it is expected that foreign tourists from various countries who are to watch this movie will visit MBC's new building in Sangam-dong.

 

In the trailer, a flying object takes wing over the sculpture that two huge human patterns are facing their fingers between the streets and the red square frame near MBC's new building. This sculpture is named 'square-M, communication' and made of 7.2m in length and 6m in width, 6m in height using stainless steels. It looks like simple huge figure statue by day, but let in some lights on its edges meeting each sides to give some cybertic feeling at night.

And also the whole view of MBC's new building passes by and battle scenes of the movie 'Iron man' against a background of MBC's building are unfolded for some time.

 

The reason why film crews selected this area as the shooting place is that buildings such as YTN, SBS prism tower, CJ E&M, Donga's digital media center surrounding MBC'S new building have unique designs.
