[AREX 999] An 8-Part Safety Guide for the Airport Railroad: How to Respond to Terrorism

Greeting from AREX :)

This is an 8-part safety guide
detailing how to respond to
terrorism on the airport railroad :)

Let’s take a look at what to do so that passengers can respond appropriately
in emergency situations such as terrorism.
.

How to Respond to Terrorism: 1

If you find an explosive device or suspicious object,
report it to 111 (NIS), 112 (police), or 119 (fire station),
and then warn those around you in a loud voice
before quickly evacuating in the opposite direction of the explosive.

No matter what, do not touch the object. When evacuating, use the stairs instead of the elevator to allow the handling squad to move in.

How to Respond to Terrorism: 2

Chemical explosives can react if water touches them.
Make sure that no moisture comes into contact with
the object, and evacuate to a safe distance once outside.

How to Respond to Terrorism: 3

In the event that a bomb explodes inside the train or waiting room,
if you hear the sound of an explosion, immediately get on your stomach on the floor and examine the situation. Then, with your arms and elbows at your sides to protect your lungs, heart, and chest, and use your hands to cover your ears and head in order to protect your cranium.

How to Respond to Terrorism: 4

If an explosion has started a fire, stay as close to the ground as possible to avoid breathing in toxic fumes and cover your nose and mouth with a damp cloth as you evacuate the area.
If you’re stuck under rubble from the collapse of a building, avoid unnecessary movement that may raise dust,
and avoid breathing in any dust by covering your nose and mouth with cloth.

How to Respond to Terrorism: 5

If chemicals are spreading, immediately put on a gas mask or use a cloth, towel, or similar material to cover your nose and mouth.
If you are within a contaminated area, evacuate quickly in the direction the wind is blowing or to the side, and follow the instructions of employees, firefighters, or other on-site personnel to decontaminate the area.

How to Respond to Terrorism: 6

If you end up breathing in any fumes, seek out and inhale clean air.
For the safety of rescuers, CPR may not be performed.
If anything has gotten onto your skin or in your eyes, repeatedly wash the area with running water.

This has been a review of what to do in a terrorism situation on the airport railroad.

The airport railroad safety guide will continue
until the day we’re all safe and sound!
