And now for December’s
station of the month!
With AREX express trains and
general trains running from end to end, Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Station is
located in the heart of Incheon International Airport.
Let me give you and
introduction. :)
Incheon Airport Terminal 1
Station takes on the demand of transportation for the capital area of Seoul
while also taking on the role as an airport Hub for Southeast Asia. As such, in
2001, the airport terminal’s transportation center was opened in Yongyu-do.
Further, another one of
AREX’s representative stations is Incheon Airport Terminal 2. It allows for
transport to downtown Seoul as well and serves as a great hub for countless
travelers.
Incheon
Airport Terminal 1 Station also takes pride in offering convenience facilities
such as CGV for watching a movie and a cultural complex area for travelers to
enjoy.
Makeup
shops, stores for glasses, convenience stores, cafes and more are all available
for your convenience. You can even do office tasks such as scan, copy and print
documents.
Not
only that, but there are, of course, also currency exchange booths, traveler
stores, luggage storage, wrapping machines, and luggage shipping (airport –
hotel) services. Further, there are so many other services available to you
such as getting a sim card for your phone, pocket wifi, checking your coat,
securing an electric cart, and more.
In
addition, there is a 24 hour spa for weary travelers to rest and recover, a
medical center, lost luggage center, child play area, and self-check in. These
are all available for all traveler’s greatest convenience.
So
far we have covered what all is inside of Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Station,
so now how about we take a look at what there is to enjoy outside and around
the station?
BMW Driving Center
The
BMW Driving Center opened its doors in 2014 and these days puts on various
events and activities to show off its ever changing more public look.
In
particular, it’s easy to stop by using the AREX and has been receiving great
praise from adults and children alike.
At
the entrance of the center are new BMW cars and their latest models. Not only BMW, MINI, and Rolls Royce but also
classic BMW cars are on display allowing you to take a look at the past in one
go.
Outside
of this, there are not only restaurants in which to eat, experience zones and
workshops that are easy for kids to understand and enjoy but also various
programs and leisurely activities in addition to driving.

Misiran Beach
You
can’t miss Masiran Beach on Yongyu-do island on the west coast and its
beautiful sands, mud flats, and beaches.
The
waves of the west sea are beautiful in the morning, but the thing you must go
to see is the glowing sun during sunset.
While
watching the sun set past the Supyeong Mountains of the west coast, every year
crowds of people stop by at the end of the year to make a wish for the future.
The
beach runs 3kms long and is one of Yongyu-do island’s hot spots for a romantic
time with a loved one or with the family.
