October’s “Station of the Month” is Incheon’s Cheongna Int’l
City Station.
Cheongna Int’l City Station is a place for
economic and trade development while also being easily accessible from Seoul
that has experience a surge of people moving in, thus giving it a great deal of
unlocked potential growth.
Cheongna Int’l City Station is divided into
two floors with the ticketing and turnstiles on the first floor and the
entrances and exits on the second.
Further, the
station’s platforms are rather long so you can move about through the elevated
passageways on the second floor.
Outside of exit 1
are bus and taxi stops while outside of exit 2 is a parking garage you may use
for a fee.
On the exterior of
the building is a free-to-use bicycle storage area with picture instructions
explaining how to use it. Please give it a try!
The interior of the station features
convenience facilities such as a customer service center with a nursing room
next door, and Emart 24 convenience store, Paris Baguette, and and ATM.

Cheongna
Central Lake Park
Cheongna Central Lake Park, where Dokkaebi’s lead role Gongyu
filmed, has a 4km long circular walking path
that is perfect for walking along with your family or loved ones.
At night, there is
are pop songs, classical music, OST songs, K-POP and more to enjoy alongside
the 75m music fountain.
While next to the music fountain are a
variety of performances, citizens are able to freely enjoy the beautiful music.
That’s not all,
either. Cheongnaru, the octagonal pavilion and the urban beach allow visitors
to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
There is also a multiplaza and a uniquely shaped playground where people
can enjoy various physical activities. It’s a great place to have fun and relax
while making memories with your family and loved ones.
Ara
Waterway Start Point, Jeongseojin
Nearby Cheongna
Int’l City Station is the Gyeongin Ara Waterway whose start point has
Jeongseojin’s Gyeongin Port Passenger Terminal, a fantastically famous spot. On
December 31st, it is hosting a New Years’ Countdown Party as once of
Incheon’s best tourist attractions.

Korea’s
Ecology in One Look! National Institute of Biological Resources
In order to
preserve Korea’s collection of biological resources and caves, the Ministry of
Environment designated the National Institute of Biological Resources as the
place to hold approximately 1,750,000 specimen, of which 6,500 are on display.
Here, you can
understand Korea’s ecology in one glance with the exhibitions displaying major
and diverse ecology based on classification.
